Since 2011, Marc Owensby has been working in Florida's urban wood and yard waste market seeking to apply sophisticated capital and technology to develop its full potential. Until 2018 when he co-founded Veransa, he was COO and VP Fuel Supply for biomass power company U.S. EcoGen. Prior to that he was a technology executive serving as CEO of Spotcast Communications, a mobile phone technology company, and working for Lockheed Martin and COMSAT in satellite telecommunications. He has a JD from the University of Wisconsin.

Roger Johansson has spent over 20 years as an investment banker working with Pareto Securities a Scandinavian brokerage focused on shipping, energy and commodities project financing. Based in New York City, Mr. Johansson specializes in structured bond financing and project finance and led Pareto's involvement in numerous major biomass financings. Mr. Johansson leads pellet plant development and financing with the goal of developing over 1 million tons of pellet production annually.

Before joining Veransa, Kevin served as Chief Operating Officer at Denali Water Solutions. Prior to Denali Water Solutions, Kevin was Chief Executive Officer at Orège North America Inc. and Vice President of Sales at BCR Environmental Corporation.
